Mailbox Monday

Sunflower MailboxMailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

I spoke too soon last week about summer’s early departure. It’s back this week in full force with thunderstorms, heat and humidity. Great for my garden, but not so good for me – I like to sit outside and read.

How was everyone’s week? Any goodies in your mailbox? Let us know what you received by adding your Mailbox Monday post to the linky:

Be sure to stop back on Wednesday when I will be posting Books That Caught Our Eye.

  1. Hi Leslie,

Our Bank Holiday Monday has dawned pretty much as predicted, wet and windy.

Inside ‘domestic goddess’ jobs will have to be done today then ..Ugh!

A real shame for all the outside events and activities so many groups and organisations have planned.

Thanks for hosting and have a good week,

    • I hate when that happens. We had storms most of the day Saturday which messed up some of our summer activities too. We don’t have Bank Holiday’s here in the US, but we have a Holiday coming up next Monday for Labor Day.

  2. Yes, those thunderstorms and that Amazonian weather was oppressive here. It’s a bummer when you want to read outside or take a little girl to the pool…

Hope everyone has a great week. I may steal your MM logo for September’s posts, Leslie!

  3. We’re in our rainy season, but it’s also been so hot, humid that I’m starting to get a little bummed. It’s too hot to be outside doing any type of activity, and I miss riding the trails on my bike.
