Maillbox Monday

mailboxesMailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Thanksgiving Day is this week in the US. It’s one of the holidays I really enjoy before the Christmas shopping frenzy begins. I plan on doing my shopping online and avoid the crazy crowds.

Hope everyone had a good book week. Let us know what you got (or didn’t get!) and add your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:

Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday when I will post a selection of Books That Caught Our Eye.

  1. Hi Leslie,

‘Black Friday’ is a fairly recent addition to the calendar here in the UK, however folks are gearing themselves up already. Me? like yourself, I shall be nowhere in sight of a shop, only the one I work in, which isn’t really going to be affected by all the madness 🙂

    Have a great Thanksgiving 🙂

  2. I like to shop in the indie bookstore during the Small Biz Saturday event, but typically, I try to stay to the online shopping for the holidays. The stores are too crazy. But we have done early breakfast on Black Friday…which was great since it was an empty place at that time while everyone else is shopping.

While i love giving to others, I hate the shopping craze. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.
