Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
It was a long and busy week for me with the shopping, food making, baking, visiting, and sending of cards last minute. I hope everyone had a great holiday who celebrates and got the books they wanted. I had a good time celebrating and eating Chinese food with friends and having a ham dinner with new friends after Christmas, so I can say I’m pleased. But it’s back to work as usual, I’m afraid.
Hope everyone had a good book week. Let us know what you got (or didn’t get!) and add your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:
Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday when I will post a selection of Books That Caught Our Eye.
Hi Serena,
It has definitely been a long and tiring week, so much so, that I hadn’t even realised it was Sunday. I shall be pleased when New Year celebrations have been and gone, so that I can get back into some kind of normal routine.
Just one book for me this week, but as that was a Goodreads Giveaway win (number eleven to be precise), I am more than pleased enough 🙂

Have a great week and I shall try and remember to stop by Wednesday 🙂

Wow, 11 GoodReads’ wins! I think I’ve only won one. I hope you ring in the new year with a great book; that’s my plan.
Sounds like you had a great Christmas!
It was a good Christmas.
I only received one book this year but i gifted many more. Everyone always gets a book from me and one was a signed copy of “Finding Fraser” by KC Dyer, which I had her sign when I was at SiWC15 this past October. It went to my niece for Christmas as she is a huge Outlanders fan. I was hoping for Diana Gabaldon’s autograph, but she was away consulting on a film… ah the life of our favorite authors! 🙂

Sounds like you give a lot of great books! I bet those readers appreciate it.
Happy Reading Week!
Thanks, Mary.
Glad you had a great Christmas! Hope the New Year is fun, too.
Thanks, Rachel. New Years will be interesting. I’m hoping for low-key
