Mailbox Monday

mailboxesMailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Another week has gone by already! My garden is producing lots of zucchini, cucumbers, and tomatoes and my grill and deck have gotten lots use . . . but I’m still not ready to even think about saying goodbye to summer. My yard and my deck are favorite reading/listening places and I like the outdoor season to last as long as possible. I am not a cold weather person!

Hope everyone had a good book week. Tell us about your new arrivals by adding your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:

Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday for Books That Caught Our Eye.

  1. Hi Leslie,

I’m afraid that whilst I enjoy some nice warm sunshine, I am not an excessive fan of really hot weather, so spring and autumn suit me much better than high summer!

Time is just flying by this year though and I can’t believe that it will soon be the last Monday of August and our last public holiday before Christmas!

Thanks for the ‘early bird’ link, we Brits really appreciate it – now as it is 11:30pm, I can toddle off to bed 🙂

  2. It has been so hot these last few weeks I’ve been a hermit indoors when I come home from work. The other day the heat index was 107! My garden is loving it, too. I won’t complain too much because I’d rather the hot than that white stuff! Enjoy your week!

  3. I can handle the heat, but the humidity is another story. I like cooler weather so I can walk outside and ride my bike anytime, not just really early or late.
