Mailbox with Christmas gifts in winter forest. Fabulous illustration or greeting card with Christmas. Computer graphics.Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

That first week of 2017 flew by. I do hope everyone is staying safe and warm. Even here in Florida we are experienced 23 degree weather this morning… but, thankfully, no snow here.

Tell us about your new books by adding your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:

Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday for Books That Caught Our Eye.

  1. Hi Martha,

It has been a thoroughly dull and dreary day here in the south of the UK, but thankfully no snow. The forecast is pretty much the same for tomorrow!

I am still reading the same book I carried over from last year, but I have some great new titles lined up for 2017.

    Happy Reading ๐Ÿ™‚

    Yvonne

    • Hi Yvonne – Dull and dreary days sound like good days for reading!
I figure you might be used to some cold weather? I’ll be checking out your new titles soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks Mary. I don’t know if it is sunny as I stay bundled inside! My blood has thinned from living in Florida for most of my life. I hope you continue to have sunny days.

  2. We are in the deep freeze in Pittsburgh. We are to warm up a bit this week.

As for the week flying by, I hope 2017 doesn’t go as quickly as each month did in 2016. Before I turned around another month had passed by.

    Stay warm, and Happy Reading!!

    Elizabeth

    • Hi Sarah — Our news (even the “world news” only tells us about US weather. Are you guys having storms or usual winter weather? Hope the reading is good!

      • We have usual winter weather here, snow forecast for areas towards end of the week. But it probably wonโ€™t be much.
