Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
It’s March, and I’m hoping for more spring weather here, but alas our first days in March were met with a smattering of snow. Not enough to build snowmen or sled, just enough to make the trees pretty. It’s my daughter’s sixth birthday this month, and we’ve been busy planning her first party with classmates from kindergarten. She’s very excited to be spending her birthday part with friends from school at Monkey Joe’s, which is basically an indoor place for kids to bounce and play games.
I hope everyone’s March has started off well and that you received some great books.
Hope everyone had a good week. Tell us about your new books by adding your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:
Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday for Books That Caught Our Eye.
Sounds like a fun party for your daughter.
I hope the cold is over, but we had snow the other day. Today is sunny and cold.
ENJOY your reading week.
We had a tiny bit of snow and it has been cold. I really wish for spring.
I hope the weather gets nicer for our northern friends soon. Happy BD to your daughter!
Thanks, Martha.
Hi Serena,
Our UK weather really can’t make its mind up either. One minute everything looks and feels positively spring-like, the next, the temperatures plummet instantly, the wind is blowing a gale and the rain is lashing down!
I hope that your birthday celebrations are a huge success and that your daughter enjoys her special day.
Thanks for hosting and sharing 🙂
Yvonne
Thanks, Yvonne! I’m sure she’ll love it!
I’m so ready for spring! The daffodils poked their leaves up last week and today I noticed the Iris did too. We have not had measurable snow since Christmas – and I couldn’t be happier!
I’m glad that we haven’t had snow.
