Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

It’s November already and the start of the Holiday Season. And also time to assess our reading goals for the year and start making those end-of-year lists. I didn’t read as much as I would have liked this year, but I still have a few months left to hit the 2017 TBR pile.

How was your week? Tell us about your new books by adding your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:

Be sure to stop back later this week for Books That Caught Our Eye.

  1. Good Morning Ladies,

The thought that another year has come and gone is pretty sobering to be honest. It has come upon us so quickly, a real sense of deja vu!

I only took on the Goodreads Reading Challenge this year and even that I have struggled with, so I am seriously contemplating a totally challenge free blog next year, with the emphasis well and truly going back to basics – reading for enjoyment and blogging when I have the opportunity.

Having said all that, this week’s “new on my shelf”, is another excellent psychological thriller, which sounds as though it is going to keep me turning the pages when it gets to the top of my list!

    Have a great week 🙂

    • I have avoided most challenges this year too. Like you, I did participate in the Goodreads Challenge and I’m pretty close to achieving my book a week. There was a time when I read over 100 books a year, but I have too much going on right now to keep up that pace.

  2. Love your mailbox!!

I always set my goal to 50 and go over a bit. I don’t like to be stressed.

I read about the same number of books this year that I always do.

    Thanks for the linkup.

Can you delete my first link…I bumped enter before I was finished with it.

  3. I like that cheery mailbox. I am doing well with my goals. I backed them down a few years ago so that they are reasonable for me now. We should always be able to enjoy the reading and blogging without stressing over it. Have a good week.
