Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

It’s been a super busy weekend at our house with the end of a rainy soccer season and her end of year music recital, but I hope to get some more reading in as the months move forward. I also hope that the weather is less rainy. It’s hard to believe that it is June already, and soon I’ll have a second grader.

Hope everyone had a good week. Tell us about your new books by adding your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:

Be sure to stop back later this week for Books That Caught Our Eye.

  1. Hi Serena,

It doesn’t seem possible how quickly time flies by, does it?

The children here still have one more 6 week examination term left at school before the English summer holidays, so we generally try and fit in any trips we want to make, before the July mass exodus!!

They reckon that we have enjoyed the hottest May since records began, although we have had some pretty impressive storms to go along with those temperatures.

Reading has been pretty slow here at Fiction Books too, I really need to take a speed readng course – but I’m not sure that I would enjoy my books so much then?

Have a good week and thanks for hosting 🙂

    Yvonne xx

    • I’m not sure that speed reading is the best solution. I’ve tried that but I just don’t enjoy the books as much. My daughter only has 2 weeks left of school, but I think some schools in other states are already done.
