Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Happy Valentines Week. Despite the occasional snow showers, spring is on the way. Days are getting longer, birds are singing, and we even had some sunshine here in the Midwest.

Hope everyone had a good week. Tell us about your new books by adding your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:

Be sure to stop back later this week for Books That Caught Our Eye.

  1. Hi Leslie,

Spring is just around the corner, here in the UK too! The days are getting longer, trees are beginning to bud and the birds are thinking of nesting.

All sounded good in the garden until yesterday and today, when one of the biggest storms in decades hit. Thankfully no snow, but very damaging winds of up to 90mph and torrential rain leaving many flooded under several feet of water!

On the plus side, we haven’t had a real winter at all this year. Only a couple of light frosts, above average temperatures and none of the dreaded white stuff!!

Out there, it sounds like a day for snuggling up with a good book, but I need to try and get to work somehow, so wish me luck and have a great week yourself 🙂

    Yvonne

  2. Flowers are blooming here in Portland, as is usual for February. But we have to put up with a lot of rain to balance out our mild winters. Love the Valentine mailbox!
