Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
It was Father’s Day weekend here in the United States, so we were a bit busy here with a dad and grampie. We had some good Chinese takeout and some steak on the grill this weekend and we blew up an inflatable pool for my daughter since our community pool has been closed and just now opening for lap swim. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hi Serena,
Things are slowly getting back to some kind of normality here too, although the behaviour of some people does mean that we are still quite reluctant to go anywhere which is crowded.
The weather is due to be amazing this week, so still going to stick to our garden and catch up on some more reading.
Have a good week 🙂
Yvonne

We’re of the same thoughts here, and I have high-risk parents here to worry about too. Our weather is going to hit the 90s, which usually means PM Thunderstorms.
We ate out for the first time since this whole thing started. Everyone was outside with plenty of distance between tables. Indoor dining starts today.
I’m not ready for indoor or outdoor eating as yet. Maybe outdoor at some point. I’m still trying to get use to my daughter beginning swim practices again (at least its an outdoor pool).
Happy Father’s Day to your special dudes 😉 Hubs is more excited for next weekend, I think, and we just celebrated his birthday last week, so there wasn’t much todo around here. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your week.
Thanks, Becki. My husband’s birthday is this coming weekend. So it’s all about dad for 2 weekends.
