Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
Happy Monday! I can’t believe this year is heading into the last month. This Thursday is Thanksgiving in the US. And then Black Friday. A different kind of Black Friday this year, but I’m sure people will still be shopping… online! Stay safe out there.
Hope everyone had a good week. Add your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:
Be sure to stop back later this week for Books That Caught Our Eye.
Hi Leslie,
I hope that you manage to celebrate Thanksgiving, albeit in a limited way. I don’t what your current restrictions are, however we come out of a second lockdown next week and we are due to find out today what our Christmas might look like, as regards seeing friends and relatives. Personally, we are still going to be avoiding any gatherings in enclosed spaces, as we have already been warned that any easing of restrictions will result in another lockdown in the New Year, so it is not worth the risk from our perspective!
Our Black Friday started on the 23rd and has now turned into Black Friday Week, which lasts through until 30th!
Whatever you do, have a lovely time, but Stay Safe

Every state has it’s own rules here, which is why the country is having such a bad time with infections. I live in Illinois (Chicago suburbs) where we have stages to reopening or closing businesses, schools, etc depending on positivity rates. Problem is, our neighbor states have different rules, and the virus respects none of them. People from Illinois visit neighboring states to go to bars and restaurants (closed in illiniois) and bring the virus back with them. It’s a mess. I mostly go to work or stay home, and one day a week volunteer at the parrot rescue.
I hope everyone stays safe this Thanksgiving here in the U.S.
