Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists.

We had heavy rain on Saturday. It was a good day to work on the computer and listen to audio while doing chores.

This is a fun mailbox made of books…for books we hope! We’re interested in seeing what books came to your home this week.

As for MM, we’re looking for someone to volunteer to take over MM duties in May. We’re unsure what is going on with Leslie, but we have not heard from her since November 2020. We need someone who is familiar with Mr. Linky and the WordPress platform. Sunday evenings are when we post MM for overseas participants and BTCOE posts go up on Friday afternoons. If you have interest please email: savvyverseandwit [at] gmail [dot] com.

Tell us about your new books by adding your Mailbox Monday post to the linky below:

Be sure to stop back later this week for Books That Caught Our Eye.

  1. Unusually for the UK, I actually can’t remember the last time we had any rain, and we have been watering the garden daily for some time now! I think we are due a short break in the sunshine later this week, but only for some light drizzle! Hopefully this prolonged sunshine now doesn’t mean we are going to suffer during the summer!

I received three lovely new books on my virtual shelf for review and I hope that everyone else has some great reading lined up for this week! πŸ™‚

    • Hi Yvonne – It’s funny that I think of UK as being wet and grey… not all the time of course. It is always nice to have a variety in weather without extremes. πŸ™‚
I will be checking out your books soon. Thanks for sharing at MM.

  2. We’ve had lovely, sunny weather which means I’m moving my reading outside soon! Thank you for hosting πŸ™‚ I also included your message about needing a volunteer in my post, fingers crossed you find someone soon! Juli @ A Universe in Words

  3. The weekend here was a mix of rain and sun, but we had a relatively fun weekend. My daughter’s best friend is now 10 and we had a cute little bowling party and fun afterward. Today is the day my daughter heads back to the school building for the first time, and I’m as nervous as she is, but I keep telling myself all will be well. Power of positive, right?

  4. Serena- That sounds like a fun time with the young ‘uns. I bet your daughter will be glad to be back in building school. My grandkids have been back in person since October or so.
I do hope all goes well. We want everyone to be safe and healthy. Have a great week!
