Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
Still snowing in much of the Northern and Eastern US, so the snowy squirrel will pick up the mail for another week. On a positive note, all this bad weather gives us more time to sit inside and read where it’s cozy and warm. Unless we can fly off to a Caribbean Island – just wandered off into a dream there for a moment. Back to reality!
I hope everyone had a good week and a few new books in their mailbox.

Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday when I will post a selection of Books That Caught Our Eye.
Hi Leslie,
I assumed it was only us Brits who could discuss and often complain about the weather as much as we do. However I have come to the conclusion that this is a worldwide phenomenon, with each and every one of us seemingly being at odds with the one thing that none of us has any control over or can change! LOL
That Caribbean island of yours sounds quite nice, although my niece is having beautiful weather out in Florida right now, so a trip to visit her, while she finishes her year long secondment, would be good enough for me 🙂
Have a great week,
Yvonne.
My parents are up to 9+ ft of snow now and you cannot see the front of their small house because of the snow piles…they are as tall as the roof! 😦 Not much snow here, but there has been frigid temps.
This is my first time doing Mailbox Monday! What a fun post!
I almost hate to say it but I live in Oregon and the high for today is 60…hope all those on the East Coast are staying warm!! Grab a book, some tea/coffee, and a warm blanket!!
I’m in Oregon too and enjoying all the early blooming daphne and camelia bushes, crocuses, and jonquils. I even saw a few rhododendron bushes blooming!
I cannot wait to see spring!
