Mailbox Monday

bright boxesMailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Monday is Memorial Day in the US. While many of us have plans for picnics, BBQs, and parades, it’s also a day of remembrance to honor all Americans who have died while in the military service.

I hope everyone had a good book week and some new arrivals in their mailbox.

Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday when I will post a selection of Books That Caught Our Eye.

As Hubbie’s birthday was yesterday and my own is today, we have had a lovely weekend celebrating with various friends and family, so aim to spend a quiet day together, visiting a National Trust property in Dorset.

My mailbox this week contains just one book, a well acclaimed suspenseful and intriguing thriller, called ‘The Ice Twins’

Thaks for still taking the time out to host MM this week and a happy and peaceful day to you all 🙂

  2. Happy Birthday to you and your husband!! It’s Memorial Day here in the U.S. so there will be many visits to the National Cemeteries and others across the U.S. and then cook outs and fireworks tonight.
