Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
My sunflowers are finally blooming. The few that I have anyway, and nothing as nice as the one in the photo—that was from last summer.
This year a horde of bunnies ate most of my sunflowers plus a few other perennials that I didn’t even think they liked such as Heliopsis. They would have devoured the veggies too if I didn’t put up some emergency fencing.
I hope everyone had a good book week and some new arrivals in their mailbox.

Be sure to stop back here on Wednesday when I will post a selection of Books That Caught Our Eye.
The bunny population has boomed in our area this summer. I noticed they haven’t started on my daisies yet. Enjoy those sunflowers.

Bunnies can be so destructive — they ate our pumpkin plant and the strawberry plant. I’ve been able to get the strawberry to come back to life but the pumpkin may be a lost cause.
